about the project
This project began shortly after a young professional couple purchased their first home together—a property full of promise but fragmented by decades of disjointed renovations, from an exterior with Traditional Texas Limestone with Federalist notes to Spanish Colonial-inspired interiors and a poorly executed “builder special” primary bath. With a clear vision rooted in classic, traditional, and timeless design, our goal was to unify these disparate elements while honoring the home’s architectural character and adapting it for modern family living. Through a careful balance of refinement and restraint, we introduced architectural detail where needed, softened overworked areas, and layered in intentional “wow” moments that elevate everyday life. The result is a cohesive, enduring home that reflects the clients’ evolving personal style and unfolds gradually, rewarding discovery in the tradition of classical design.
