ABOUT THE PROJECT
This new-build residence is a thoughtfully layered study in contrasts—dark and light, traditional and contemporary—designed for active, retired empty nesters who love to read, entertain, and pursue a wide range of hobbies. Engaged early in the design process, our team reviewed and refined architectural and finish selections, pivoting where needed to create a cohesive vision before moving into furnishings.
Strong indoor-outdoor connections and a well-considered floor plan establish a clear balance between public and private spaces, allowing for togetherness and retreat. Throughout, durable, comfortable furnishings blend the homeowners’ cherished traditional pieces—many thoughtfully reworked—with fresh, transitional furnishings that feel tailored yet relaxed. Integrated storage supports a clutter-free, highly livable home that encourages ease, connection, and everyday elegance.
The result is a contemporary interpretation of a country house.
